the Festival of Wesak
the Festival of the Buddah, the spritual imtermediary between the highest spiritual center, Shamballa, and the Hierarchy. the Buddah is the expression of the wisdom of God, the embodiment of Light, and the Indicator of divine purpose. the Forces of Enlightenment are active at this time. they are related to divine understanding and reach and strengthen those who love and serve their fellowmen. the forces of enlightenment initiate the new world education effecting great educational movements, forums of people in all lands, and the values which unfold through mass communications

the Festival of Goodwill
the Christ's Festival, the Festival of the spirit of humanity aspiring for God, seeking conformity to the will of God and dedicated to the expression of unity and goodwill. at the time of this festival for two thousand years the Christ has represented humanity and has stood before the Hierarchy and in the sight of Shamballa as the God-Man, the leader of His people and the 'Eldest in a great family of brothers'. it is a festival of deep invocation and spiritual appeal, of aspiration towards fellowship, right human relations, and human and spiritual unity. it represents the effect in human consciousness of the work of the Buddah and the Christ, and is the time when the divine nature of mankind is recognized. the Forces of Reconstruction are active at this time. these constructive, synthesizing energies seek to transform the theory of unity into practical expression
