the Wesak Festival is regarded by the Knowers of the world as of paramount importance. for through the two Representatives of Deity upon our planet, the Christ and the Buddah, the world of spiritual realities and the world of human affairs can be brought very close together. the Wesak presents to humanity a peculiar opportunity to claim the attention of Those Who are responsible for our evolution, and an opportunity to cooperate
the Wesak is connected with an ancient legend. in this story the Buddah returns once a year from the high place in which He dwells and works, to bless the world. year after year, the Buddah and His great Brother the Christ, work in close cooperation for the spiritual benefit of humanity. in these two great Sons of God are focused two aspects of divine life, and They act together as Custodians of the highest type of spiritual force to which humanity can respond. through the Buddah, the Wisdom of God is poured forth. through the Christ the love of God is manifested to humanity. at the time of the full moon of Taurus, there is opened a channel of communication between humanity and God, down which pours the love and wisdom of God Himself, transmitted through the Buddah and His Brother, the Christ, to a waiting and needy world
through this open door, approach can be made to Those Who guide the race and to truth

at this time great expansions of consciousness are possible, enabling us to penetrate
more deeply and consciously into the mysteries of the kingdom of God, revealing
more clearly the wonder of our own divinity, the beauty of the divine in
every man, and a little of the Plan to which humanity is conforming and with which we
can cooperate.

the past with the present, east with west, and unites in one whole the Christian,
the Buddist, and the Hindu, and the aspiration of all believers.
