- 1 cup organic barley
- 1 cup organic wild rice or wild rice blend
- 2 cups organic short grain brown rice
- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 3" piece of kombu seaweed
- 6 cups pure water
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt

mix and rinse rices - add to pressure cooker with sea salt... rinse the kombu in fresh water and bury in the rice... wash and cut the carrots and onion, add to pot... cover and bring to pressure on high heat... after bringing to pressure, put heat to low and let cook for 40 minutes... remove from heat and let pressure drop on its own (about 10 to 15 minutes)... open lid, stir well, and serve with beans, greens, and fresh salad
