p i c t u r e d : repurposed recycled + painted planters

a good part of the weekend was enjoyed painting these planters, and then filling them the next day with some starters... they were made back in 2004 from repurposed pieces of wood and used as lettuce beds for our deck, before we had other grow areas... pulled them out of the garage after years in storage and added a little color and character with some old acrylic paints that really needed to be put to use before drying out... the boxes now occupy the grow dome and add some planting space to the floor area
