it is usually best to keep a salad somewhat simple - without TOO many ingredients... lettuce, spring mixes, sprouts, peas, and cabbage... tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers... lettuce, spinach, carrot, celery, parsley, tomato... 4 or 5 things is usually plenty...
our favorite way to have salad is simply with a little extra virgin olive oil, ume plum vinegar, and/or brown rice vinegar... other favorite combos are sesame tahini with ume plum vinegar, apple cider vinegar, or balsamic vinegar... hemp oil, with apple cider vinegar and bragg's liquid aminos... sprinkle a little eden shake, gomasio and/or dulse flakes on top... or add pieces of nori seaweed...
